These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Glider mobile application and related services (collectively, "the Service"), operated by Glider ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU/EEA), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.
Glider is a travel-planning and trip-collaboration application that allows users to create itineraries, track expenses, manage bookings, collaborate with others, and access location-based travel features. Features may change over time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where feasible.
You must create an account to use most features of Glider. You are responsible for:
You may not share your account with others or create accounts for the purpose of abusing the Service.
You retain ownership of all trip content, notes, and other data you create in Glider ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you and your invited collaborators.
You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any applicable law or infringe any third-party rights, and that you have all rights necessary to grant the licence above.
We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not use it for advertising, AI training, or any purpose beyond delivering the Service.

The Glider app, its design, logo, features, and all original content (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without our prior written consent.
The name "Glider" and associated logo are our property. Glider is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, App Store, and iOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Glider, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the Service, including but not limited to travel suggestions, place data, or weather information.
Travel involves inherent risks. Glider is a planning and collaboration tool only. We are not a travel agency and do not book, confirm, or guarantee any travel arrangements. Always verify travel information directly with providers.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GLIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glider and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using Glider and delete your account at any time via our Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Sections 6, 8, 9, and 10) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you within the app. Your continued use of the Service after the updated effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
