Visit our Delete Account page. Tap the button to send a deletion request email. We'll verify your identity and permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
How do I turn off location access?
Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Glider. Set it to "Never" to disable all location access, or "While Using App" to disable background location only.
Does Glider share my data with advertisers?
No. Glider does not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or ad networks. We have no advertising SDK. See our Data Use Policy for a full breakdown.
Why does Glider need background location?
Background location powers features like live trip maps, nearby alerts, and weather updates when you're actively traveling. It's optional — if you prefer, set location to "While Using App" and these features will only run when the app is open.
Does Glider access my contacts?
Only when you explicitly use the invite or share feature. We read your contacts on-device to let you pick who to invite. We never copy or store your contacts on our servers. You can revoke this permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Contacts → Glider.
How do I request a copy of my data?
Email glidertravelapp@gmail.com with the subject "Data Access Request." We'll respond within 30 days with a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
I'm in the EU — what are my GDPR rights?
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data, as well as to object to or restrict processing. See Section 10 of our Privacy Policy for full details, or email us to exercise any right.
I'm in California — what are my CCPA rights?
You have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale of your data (we don't sell it). See Section 11 of our Privacy Policy or email us with "CCPA Privacy Request" in the subject line.
What is Cloudflare Turnstile and why does Glider use it?
Turnstile is a CAPTCHA service from Cloudflare that verifies you're a human during sign-in, without tracking you. It replaces traditional CAPTCHAs. The security signals it processes are not linked to your Glider account.
